Here in Alaska, you can deny a person who is most qualified for a job, an apt, or healthcare just for suspecting they are gay. This was a law passed by Pennsylvanian Mike Dunleavy a couple years ago, into law. Dunleavy from Pennsylvania till middle aged, is the Governor of Alaska, and an "always Trumper" - which tells you something right there. No one plans to be gay or straight. It just happens, and you learn to deal with it. If you are born gay, or trans, and I do believe people can be born like that, why would they choose to be denied jobs, housing, marriage, and opportunities JUST on the basis that they are not bonking people of the opposite sex? And gay people don't usually produce gay kids. LGBTQ is not a protected class in Alaska. Straight white males are a protected class.
